Career Goals:
In the passing years, my interest in people, health, medicine, and diabetes has grown. I am dedicated to becoming a doctor and researching diabetes, to assist in finding a cure, to the fullest. Obtaining a M D./Ph.D. in medicine and/or diabetic research will help me answer basic science questions in clinical findings, and apply laboratory techniques to understand the pathophysiology of human disease. Such a degree will also enable me to take findings from the bench back to the clinic and bedside. This in mind, I am pursing this dual degree.
